Bing is a web search engine from Microsoft. Recently, Bing Team announced via Bing Community Blog that Bing Search Engine will integrate with Facebook and apply Twitter tweets into news search results. The addition of social media is expected to help users in searching information in real-time.
Bing Social feature allows users to search and retrieve real-time information from Facebook and Twitter services. This search feature also prioritizes search results based on relevancy and context. Bing will display all relevant tweets related to Bing News headlines and improve search results. Only the new search results are displayed in Bing Social search results.
Bing is the default search engine on Facebook. With the Facebook integration, Bing search result can now display Facebook friend when a Facebook account linked with Bing through Facebook Connect. Users also have the option to send messages to their friends in search results.
