Brutal Death Metal

Brutal Death Metal is an extreme sub-genre of Death Metal music. This usually brings together the dominant rhythmic style of Death Metal with a fast tempo, low growling vocals, highly distorted down tuned guitars (played with techniques such as palm muting and tremolo picking), and complex song structures. Percussion is usually aggressive and powerful. Very fast drum patterns frequently add to the complexity of the genre.

Built from the structure of the music of Death Metal, Brutal Death Metal emerged around 1990's. Metal bands like Suffocation and Devourment along with bands like Cannibal Corpse and Hate Eternal are often regarded as the pioneer of this genre. Although some people question the legitimacy of this genre, but the fact that this genre still exist today.
