E-Referrer, Free Referrer List

E-Referrer, Free Referrer ListAs a blogger, I am always looking for new ways to increase traffic to my blog. One of the best ways to get traffic is by linking to other sites / blogs to get reciprocal links (referrers) back from them.

E-Referrer allows you to track and check the reciprocal link (referrer) to your blog. This is a way to provide automatic links back to the people who link to your blog. It also gives statistics and allows you to find out where your blog visitors come from.

This is very important because you and your blog visitors can see the link which brings the most traffic to your blog in real time. The sites / blogs that send visitors can get a link back.

Perhaps, this is also a way to improve page rank and traffic to your blog and at the same time to thank those who help promote your blog.

The sites / blogs that sends more visitors to your blog will appear at the top of the list.

FbShare, The Facebook Sharecount Button

FbShare, The Facebook Share Count ButtonEveryone probably already know Twitter re-tweet button across the web. Well now, a similar tool has been released for Facebook. It is called FbShare count button. FbShare button is inspired by the popular re-tweet button, which displays the total number of times the current page has been shared on Twitter.

FbShare is a Facebook share count button, that display how often your content is being shared and how many times your content has been shared on Facebook. It also allows visitors to share your content to their friends. This is a great way to promote your blog and to keep track how many times your articles get shared.

To install, all you need to do is just paste the following basic code, where you want this button to be displayed:

<script src="http://widgets.fbshare.me/files/fbshare.js"></script>

The above code will display the default size of FbShare button. If you are a WordPress user, you can download the plug-in here.

FbShare use the URL and title of the page where it is placed on to generate FbShare link. If no shared yet, it will display the Facebook logo.

Since Facebook does not currently provide a way to see what is being shared by users outside the Facebook network, then FbShare will help to keep track and shows you how many times the page has been shared on Facebook. The general count should represent the actual total.

It is not exactly the same as the re-tweet button for articles on Twitter, but I think it could give some ideas on the world of Facebook sharing.

LastPass, Firefox Password Manager Add On

LastPass, Firefox Password Manager Add OnIt is difficult to find a site that does not require registration or log in. In every log in, there is almost always a password. Password comes to improve security. After you registered to any services, you are so tired with user names and passwords. Remembering all passwords can be very difficult, unless you have a method to create strong passwords that are easy to remember.

LastPass is a free online password manager and form filler that makes web browsing easier and more secure. LastPass supports Firefox as plug in (add-on). It allows you to import, export, captures passwords from password storage vendor and allows you to create strong passwords with ease.

The data is encrypted locally before upload. Its One Time Password & Screen Keyboard help protect your master password. It automatically fills in log-in credentials, fills web forms and synchronizes all of them to other browser (with the same add on) using encryption.

Once all your passwords imported, they will fill all your identifiable user name and password boxes appropriately. The database is easily accessible to view form information if it needs to be modified in any way. The only requirement is one strong password.

LastPass is the last password you need. This allows you to log in to your favorite sites with a single click. It saves your time and you only need to remember one password. It also helps you recover lost passwords stored on your computer and make using multiple computers much easier.

It is possible to gain access the passwords on another computer system without having to carry storage devices like USB sticks. New users can create an account during installation while existing users will need to provide their log in credentials to end the installation.

This program also offers an option to create profiles to fill out forms on the website more easily.
